Captures: An outing with the older brother!

I need to be better at posting on my blogs! Today is that day where I am going to be better.

One cold fall day last year,I decided I wanted to go take pictures from a high place. It was overcast and snow had capped the mountains and I was inspired! I asked my brother Parker if he wanted to come with me, and we set off for the mountains! He is on his mission now, in Merida Mexico. But before he left, way before, we would always do stuff together. Spontaneous outings were our thing. Sometimes to the store to get treats, sometimes to go hang out with friends, or other times just to go on a drive and talk. He is the best older brother I could ever ask for. He is so goofy and full of great ideas. A few of them I took into use on this outing to the mountains! Here is what I captured that day.

This was Parker's cool idea. The top of the mountain where we were had a parking lot, and a rock wall to keep you going off the cliff. He wanted to jump off. Cool effect huh!

How incredible that one side of where we were standing was autumn, and the other winter.

The view of the Provo Temple was in a beautiful spot.

I took a photo class last semester and was spoiled with the opportunity to use photo shop, i'll post those neat edits up next time.

Nature is one of my many inspirations to photograph. Two of my favorite things to capture are people, and the background they stand in front of.
